Kindergarten serenaded us by singing America the Beautiful during last night's School Board meeting following the Pledge Allegiance.
Later, Mrs. Bridget Nelson shared that she attended the W!SE awards ceremony in New York on April 28th where Highland High School placed 5th in the top 10 small schools category and placed 8th overall in the nation. She then rolled out a banner awarded to Highland High School for placing in the top 100 schools.

Highland High School was thrilled to have Jim Butler and his team from Blue Ridge Community College on our campus. BRCC's Transportation and Logistics Simulation Mobile Lab visited HHS on Tuesday, May 9. Students were able to interact with simulators for Semi-Trucks, Excavators and Heavy Equipment. We are so thankful for this opportunity to build a partnership with Blue Ridge Community College.
