Commonwealth Conversation on Restoring Childhood Through Common Sense Approaches to Social Media and Cell Phones On the evening of September 19, the First Lady and Dr. Haidt convened a fireside chat and discussed the findings of Haidt’s book The Anxious Generation: How the Great Rewiring of Childhood is Causing an Epidemic of Mental Illness and how it informs our communities and schools in limiting social media and cell phone use to help restore childhood and play.
