Due to strong winds, snowfall, and the potential for downed trees and limbs, Highland County Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, February 17, 2025. Weather conditions will be assessed in the morning to ensure the safety of students and staff.

Due to fallen tree limbs obstructing roadways, Highland County Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, February 7, 2025.

After consulting with VDOT, due to heavy icing and trees down blocking roads, Highland County Public Schools will need to close (February 6, 2025) to assure the safety of our students and staff. No virtual learning.
