Recently, kindergarten and first grade Highland Elementary School students took a walking field trip into Monterey to visit several businesses to learn about careers. Here, kindergarteners pose with a truck at Virginia Department of Transportation headquarters.
During the end-of-year celebration at Highland Elementary School, kindergarteners sang “This is America to Me” as part of their program.
