Highland County Public Schools

ALLEGHENY HIGHLANDS — A combined 21 student-athletes from Bath County and Highland high schools were selected to All-Pioneer District teams released last week.

The Chargers earned 13 spots on the district boys’ soccer team and three on the baseball squad, while the Rams put five on the baseball team.

Andrew Turner, Luke Turner, Braiden Mabe and Frankie DeBoe led the BCHS selections on the pitch, all being named first team all-district. Wyatt Campbell, Miguel Malpica, Noah Bolling, Luke Hooker and Dillan Royer were all named second team, while Braxton Bragg, Carter Hooker, Dustin Woods and Noah Harmon were on the honorable mention list.

The Highland baseball selections include first teamer John Wagner, second teamer Zach Armstrong and Eli Moore, Patton Hull and Evan Kimble, who were all honorable mention.

Bath County’s baseball team is represented by honorable mention picks Cooper Lowry, Issac Ingram and Nathan Hunt. All-Pioneer District Baseball
