NARROWS — Highland won both games of a Pioneer District junior varsity softball doubleheader at Narrows Saturday afternoon.
The Rams whipped the Green Wave, 8-1, in game one, before nipping the hosts 18-17 in the second contest.
Colleen Adams had three hits for Highland in the opener, Peyton Neil and Addison Lockridge had two apiece and Kristina Neil and Emma Summers both had one.
Individual stats for the second game were not available.
The Rams had a 15-3 lead at Pocahontas County, W.Va., when that game was rained out on Monday night.
Highland (5-0 Pioneer District, 6-1 overall) played at Bath County on Tuesday and hosts Richwood, W.Va. on Friday.
