MONTEREY — The entire nine-player roster got in on the fun here Monday.

The Highland junior varsity softball team scored eight times in the bottom of the third and held on late to score an exciting 16-14 win over Parry McCluer.
Sarah Liller pitched the complete-game for the Rams, striking out 11 Fighting Blues.
Liller also had three hits and scored a pair of runs to lead the Highland offense.
Kirsten Wood added two hits for the winners and Zalea Good, Emma Summers, Peyton Neil, Tessa Bendel and Mary Anne Rogers each had one hit.
Wood, Colleen Adams and Bendel scored three runs each and Ava Summers drew three walks.
The Rams started their season with a loss at Pocahontas County, W.Va., last Tuesday, 22-14.
Wood was 4-for-5 to lead the Highland offense and Liller pitched the complete game.
The Rams (1-1) host Bath County next Tuesday.
